Formally known as the BAS folding seats, these jump seats
are a proven design and have been in production since 1979. They are STC approved for Cessna models 170, 172, 175, 180, 182,
and 185. The seat assemblies are constructed of welded 4130 Chromoly Steel tubing, power coated black. The seat frames are
covered with 3.5 oz. Poly-Fiber fabric for durability. They can be used as-is, or covered with a secondary lightweight upholstery
to match the rest of your aircraft's interior. Each seat weighs 5 1/2 pounds. This compares to 29 pounds for the traditional
bench seat. Installation can be done in 8 - 12 hours for both seats by an experienced mechanic.
--Lighter weight than standard seats means higher useful load.
--Seats stow tight against the fuselage side, greatly increasing cargo space.
--Each seat removes with two bolts. Bench
seat can be reinstalled with no modifications.
--Seats are comfortable and fit in same fore and aft location as the OEM

Seat Kit Contents
Single Seat: $1500. For model 182E and newer:
Pair of Seats:
$2750. For model 182E and newer: $2950. (includes shipping in the U.S.
lower 48 states, call or email for other locations )
Seat belt attach option kit: $250. This includes 4 attach brackets that rivet between
the skin and bulkhead (same as late model 180-185). Included in the STC approval. Call me for details.

**Early model aircraft had seat belts attached directly to the bench seat.
In these applications, late model seat belt attach hardware may have to be installed. We can provide that hardware if needed.
Later model aircraft require no changes.
